RAE score
The Research Assessment Exercise is a government project that assigns a score (from 1-4, with 4 being the highest) to the quality of research being carried out at that university. We have mapped this to university departments to provide an indictator of the quality of research carried out at each department.

Employability score
The Higher Education Statistics Agency collects details of the employment status of postgraduates from each UK institution. We've converted these statistics into scores to provide an indication of how employable graduates from these departments have been in the last two years. HESA does not accept responsibility for any inferences or conclusions derived from the data.
