Initial Teacher Training

Teaching is an important and highly rewarding profession. It can be challenging and our courses will equip you with the skills and confidence to take in to the classroom.

We offer school centred initial teacher training (SCITT) and employment based teacher training (EBTT) courses:

* West Mercia Consortium (Early Years 3-7 PGCE)
* Marches Consortium (11-16/14-19 PGCE - SCITT)
* Robert Owen Consortium (Graduate Teacher Programme, Registered Teacher Programme and Overseas Trained Teacher - EBTT)

Our courses are based upon a unique partnership of Schools, Colleges and Training Providers, giving first rate support to our trainee teachers. Our growing co-operative in Herefordshire, Shropshire, Worcestershire, Wales and the West Midlands is recognized as one of the foremost providers of teacher training.

Our courses are distinctive in that trainees are placed directly in local schools and colleges so that they can start learning the profession straight away from the professionals - teachers themselves.
